i would like to make a formal apology to nancy. i have been a horrible friend. i haven't called her in a l---o---n---g time. i keep thinking i'm going to call her after nine, when the minutes are free......but i am soooo tired. i think i'll just break down and use some of my daytime minutes on you. you are definitely worth it.

from the mouths of 7 year olds......

kids are amazing. i hope that each one of you got to read davo's blog. if you haven't, his little one is having surgery today to hopefully correct his problem. yesterday, when i came home from running (5.15 miles!) kenedy had cut up about fourty little square shaped papers. on the papers she had written "pray for baby". she wanted to hand them out and put them all over the house to remind our family to pray for kyle. davo,......needless to say, if people forgot to pray, kenedy a 7 seven year old remembered. i was so proud of her, and if i don't stop writing right now i'm gonna cry in the durkee elem. library.

my favorite number is 3. things have been happening in 2's. i am by no way into numerology. that is stupid. here are the weird things that have happened in 2's.....

1. both chuck and my CD player went out in our car on the same week.
2. our check engine lights both came on in the same week. (mine went off)
3. both of our cell phones broke in the same week.

i am sooo perplexed by the number 2.

here are some things that would be great to happen with the number 2...

1. accidentally got 2 paychecks
2. i lost 2 pounds
3. sorry, i can only think of two things........now isn't that perplexing....

the better to see you with my dear.......

it rained today. that means for us cypress-ites that 290 will be even worse than normal.......and it was. i people watched from my car. i saw a lady in a toyota camry pick her nose. i thought, "wow she's brave". i usually try to at least pretend like i'm looking for something underneath the seat. i also saw a guy with tinted windows picking his nose inside his truck. the truck was a nice shade of pale green.

today when i was outside with 1st grade, i saw a dad pushing his little 2 1/2 year old son in a pretty red grocery cart. i can't believe people do that in public. man, steal the cart and push your kid around your backyard. ....... maybe he's a big time criminal and stealing a grocery cart for him is like stealing a grape for me.

btw.....i'm glad to see that todd is back to blogging. let me warn all you bloggers....just about the time you get comfy with todd, he stops blogging......sit back and observe.........he may be picking his nose too.......

sometimes I need theme music. for instance...when i drive to school and i see all the ghetto kids and their ghetto-ismness i would like for God to play Sanford and Son theme music. life would be so much more enjoyable if we had theme music. most of our daddies would like for "i like Big butts and i cannot lie..." to play when our momma's come home from work. here is a list of theme music i need for certain people....
